Transforming the communities of Essex & East London through Christ’s presence

21 May is also Rogation Sunday. The day will start in Black Notley, with a Rogation Service led by Revd Janet Nicholls, our Rural Adviser and Agricultural Chaplain, who writes: “Rogation Sunday provides the opportunity to reach beyond the church building to be amidst the activity of the parish and to bring God’s blessing as we go.”

The journey will pass though Braintree to Bocking and onwards to Gosfield.

The afternoon sees another Rogation Sunday service at the Farm Shop in Greenstead Green, a visit to the Essex Air Ambulance and ending in a pub in Earls Colne.

Bishop Stephen says:

“Do join me. When you travel by foot you see the world differently. Conversations are natural and unforced. Doors of opportunity open.”
